Skin care without the pressure.
I didn't plan on a career in skin care. When my son finished university, I found myself with free time and a wish to try something new. I wasn't sure I'd like esthetics. I loved it.
I trained at the John Casablancas Institute, then spent six to nine months taking every extra course I could find while I turned the back of our family home into a fully equipped skin studio. I built it to be the kind of place I'd want to visit myself.
About the name: Yeung is my married name, and I say it "young," so Years Yeung is a little play on "years young."
Less is more
I believe in caring for your skin so it stays healthy over the years, rather than fighting aging. Aging is natural and happens to all of us.
It's a bit like caring for your teeth. Everything shows some wear over time, but with good care it holds up better. Skin is the same. The best foundation is a simple daily routine, especially sunscreen, plus gentle treatments that encourage your skin to make its own collagen. The goal is results that look like you, only well cared for.
Honest advice, no pressure
I'll tell you what I'd suggest and why, and then the choice is yours. I only recommend what I think will help you. Often, what's been bothering you for a long time has a simple fix.
Your first visit
Many people put off getting skin help because they feel unsure or self-conscious, especially with concerns like acne. That's a big reason I chose a small, private studio. It's just you and me, in a relaxed space.
Not sure what to expect? I'll offer you a tea (I have lots to choose from). We'll sit and chat while you fill out your forms at your own pace. Then I'll gently cleanse your skin, take a careful look, and share what I see. If a quick treatment makes sense that day, we can often do it right then.
Know exactly what you need? Just say so. I can keep your visit to the essentials, which saves you time and money.
About your photos
Sometimes I'll take a "before" photo so you can compare your own results. That photo belongs to you. I won't use it in my marketing. If I'd like to share your image, I'll ask first and offer something in return, like a free or discounted treatment.
